About the speaker

David L. Perez MD, MMSc, a board-certified Neurologist and Psychiatrist, is a faculty member in the Departments of Neurology and Psychiatry at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). He is an Associate Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School, and is the Founding Director of the MGH Functional Neurological Disorder Unit and FND Research Group. Dr. Perez has published over 100 peer reviewed articles, the majority on Functional Neurological Disorder – including a particular focus on brain imaging research in this population. Dr. Perez is also the co-editor of a Springer textbook on Functional Movement Disorder.
