Dr. Hong will discuss how the Autism Diagnostic Observational Schedule (ADOS) system has been developed since the 1980s. Dr. Hong will discuss the structure of ADOD-2, including its modules, coding system, algorithm scoring system, classification, and severity. Dr. Hong will address a comprehensive review of the ADOS-2 studies in the literature and its current evidence of diagnostic accuracy.

About the speaker
Dr. Ji Su Hong is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a child and adolescent psychiatrist at Kennedy Krieger Institute, Center for Autism Services, Science and Innovation (CASSI™). Dr. Hong graduated from Yonsei University College of Medicine in South Korea in 2006, and completed his general psychiatry residency at Yonsei University Health System Severance Hospital. He moved to the US in 2009, completed his general psychiatry residency at Nassau University Medical Center in 2012, and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship in Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis in 2014. He joined to Johns Hopkins and Kennedy Krieger Institute in 2017. He specializes in the diagnostic evaluation of complex cases, and early detection and intervention of mental health problems in the context of ASD or ASD concerns. He has dozens of papers related to ASD, early childhood mental health, and ADOS-2.
