From robots to surveillance devices, practitioners working with older adults are increasingly faced with evaluating the need for and the ethical use of technology to support clients at home and in a wide variety of care settings. This session will evaluate a range of devices available for use with older people and we will discuss the risks, benefits, legal and ethical implications for use in practice.
Target Audience
This activity is intended for psychologists, social workers, counselors, and other mental health professionals.

About The Speaker
Dr. Jullie Gray is a trained and licensed as a clinical social worker, she combines over 30 years of experience working in diverse healthcare settings with her passion for working with older adults and their families. She is an educator, award-winning care manager, is the immediate past president of the National Academy of Certified Care Managers and the past president of the Aging Life Care Association.
