This presentation will highlight suicide risk and prevention strategies as they relate to selected diverse cultures. Studies have shown a wide range of risk factors for suicide, that are different between cultures, understanding them can help clinicians with identifying the risks their patients are facing. In addition, and based on that, the effectiveness of intervention strategies for various ethnoracial or minority groups depends on which group the patient is from.
